Become a Neighbor

We at Charis love the word neighboring. The word represents more than just a person. It is a way of living. Neighboring is weaving your unique gifts, resources and talents into the fabric of the community. Neighboring is intentionally walking through life together. Neighboring is the number one community security system. Neighboring in the form of an action verb plays a key role in transforming communities.

Become a Intentional Neighbor – an individual or family who moves into the Charis target neighborhood with the commitment to being a neighbor and weaving their lives into the fabric of the community. Charis recognizes four types of Intentional Neighbors: Lighthouse Neighbors, Charis Affordable Homeowners, Service Community Neighbors, and Target Neighborood Historical Reconnections. Learn more.

We are in the process of purchasing houses left vacant by the forclosure and mortgage fraud crisises. Beautiful newly constructed homes selling at lower than normal prices. Now is the time to buy. Now is the time to become a Strategic Neighbor.
