Pray for Charis

In the words of John Bunyan – “You can do more than pray after you have prayed, but you can’t do more than pray until you’ve prayed.”

Prayer Requests – from big to small:

• Transformation of the historic South Atlanta Neighborhood into a community of shalom.
• Families and individuals who will catch the vision and become new neighbors in our target community.
• The vacant homes in the neighborhood will be filled with good neighbors and won’t be purchased by investors looking to make a quick buck at the expense of the local residents.
• We desire to see a diversity of income, race and age that sustains itself over the lifetime of the community.
• We long for unity amongst new and long-term residents.
• The South Atlanta Civic League will grow in number, strength and leadership.
• Protection and security as we rehab the vacant houses in our foreclosure initiative. Vacant homes often are targeted by thieves.
• We need partners and volunteers to help us rehab our aging stock of affordable housing.
• The rooftops of GlenCastle and the Blacksmith are in need of repair. We are looking for a quality repair company that won’t charge us an arm and a leg.
• A new/used work truck to replace our now dead F250 used by our property manager.
